EVENTS /// FAQ

Race day questions, answered

Everything you need to know before you get on the grid.

Q.01 What is the Indian Esports Racing League (IERL)?

IERL is the events banner of RaceSims: hotlap events and championships run exclusively at RaceSims partner centres across India. The structure: monthly hotlap challenges with cash prizes, quarterly championships, and one annual championship. Season 1 is live now — the hotlap leaderboard and championship standings are at indianesportsracingleague.com.

Q.02 What can you actually win?

The prizes climb a ladder. Monthly hotlap challenges pay cash, every month. Quarterly championships award a real-car prize: a Race Car Experience, a Rally Car Experience or RaceSims Academy training — with our partner teams Arka Motorsports and Buzzing Hornet Motorsport. The annual championship is being built toward the biggest prize in Indian sim racing: a sponsor-backed full-season Polo Cup or rally car drive — the final prize is confirmed with each season's sponsors before the season starts.

Q.03 Can I qualify or race from my rig at home?

No — and that's deliberate. With cash prizes on the line, every competitive lap, from qualifiers to finals, runs at an IERL centre: supervised, on league-mandated hardware with identical calibration. Equal equipment for everyone, zero scope to cheat. Foolproof. Discord is where announcements, community and banter live — the racing happens in-centre.

Q.04 Where do I see the leaderboard and standings?

Right on this page — the live board above mirrors the official feed — and in full at indianesportsracingleague.com: hotlap board, championship standings, driver profiles and the season schedule. Results post from the centres as they're approved, and each centre also collects venue standings points from its drivers' results.

Q.05 Do I need my own equipment or a licence?

No. Every IERL centre provides professional equipment, and no licence or experience is required for race nights and hotlap events. Turn up, get a briefing, drive.

Q.06 Can beginners join, and how young can you start?

Yes — race nights are open to all skill levels, and league racing is classed so you fight drivers at your pace. Anyone aged 7 and up can drive at RaceSims Studio.

Q.07 How do I hear about events first?

Join the RaceSims Discord — race night announcements and setup help live there — follow @race.sims on Instagram, and keep the IERL leaderboard bookmarked for rounds, results and the schedule.

Q.08 Can we book a private or corporate event?

Yes — birthdays, corporate team events, brand activations and college fests, with race formats, live timing and a podium. With IERL centres in six cities, corporate events can even run concurrently in multiple cities on one leaderboard. Message +91 73582 29224 on WhatsApp.

Racing is better with a grid. The RaceSims community lives on Discord: race night announcements land there first, alongside setup help from our race engineers and rig showcases. The talking happens online — the racing happens in-centre.

Sim racing events in India are entering a new era: under the Indian Esports Racing League (IERL), RaceSims runs monthly hotlap challenges with cash prizes, quarterly championships where the winner takes a real-car prize — a Race Car Experience, a Rally Car Experience or RaceSims Academy training — and one annual championship built toward a sponsor-backed real racing drive. All of it runs exclusively at RaceSims partner centres in Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Kochi, Mangalore and Thane. Because the stakes are real, every competitive lap — qualifiers to finals — is driven in-centre on league-mandated, identically calibrated hardware: a fair, supervised, foolproof racing environment where equal machinery decides nothing and the driver decides everything.
