Who founded Race Sims?

Race Sims was founded by Thambusamy T.D., a motorsport race engineer with over 14 years of experience in Indian racing, tuning, and telemetry.

What is your motorsport background?

I have over 14 years in Indian motorsport as a race engineer, tuner, and telemetry specialist, working with national champions, manufacturers, and professional teams. All of my motorsport work has been under the guidance of Mr. Leelakrishnan—India’s most respected tuner and a multiple-time racing and rally champion. As part of his team, I contributed to programs that delivered multiple rally and circuit championships. My responsibilities span powertrain and transmission development; calibration of cars such as the Mahindra XUV300 R2 and Group N entries; wiring and tuning aftermarket ECUs (MoTeC, Link, Haltech, AEM); hub dyno operation; data acquisition and analysis with AiM/MoTeC/Haltech/Link; and CAN configuration. I also led EV projects (BMS/inverter/CAN, high-voltage wiring) and ran event and workshop operations, including R&D for major manufacturers.

Yes. Race Sims is the Official Master Distributor and Authorized Service Partner for Conspit in India, providing factory-direct products, warranty, GST billing, and after-sales support.

Do you provide solutions beyond home simulators?

Yes. We design and install sim cafés, esports arenas, and training academy simulators with full technical support.

One Academy, Two Race Teams — Sim to Stage & Track

RaceSims Academy is run in partnership with two of Indian motorsport's real operators. Arka Motorsports — the championship team behind 121+ Indian National titles, led by seven-time National Rally Champion N. Leelakrishnan with National Rally Champion Karna Kadur — runs our rally programmes. Buzzing Hornet Motorsport, the team behind India's Polo Cup programme, is our official partner for circuit racing — so you can experience and train in genuine cup-spec race cars.

Sim training happens at Racesims Studio Chennai on professional simulators with full telemetry. Real-car training happens where the discipline demands: rally programmes on private stages near Coimbatore — no public traffic, about an hour from Coimbatore International Airport — and circuit programmes at the racetrack in cup-spec race cars. Because both sides speak the same data language, your progress carries from screen to gravel or tarmac and back.

How Batches Work

Academy programmes don't run walk-in — they run in fixed batches of 8 seats, so every participant gets real seat time and one-on-one instruction. Register for a programme and we confirm your intake dates on WhatsApp. When a batch fills, you're first in line for the next one.
