Founder's Background
My name is Thambusamy T.D., and I’ve spent over 14 years in Indian motorsport as a race engineer, tuner, and telemetry specialist. My journey began at Red Rooster Performance and continued with Arka Motorsports, where I had the privilege of working with multiple national champions in both rally and circuit racing, as well as supporting manufacturers at the highest levels of competition.
All of my motorsport experience has been under the guidance of Mr. Leelakrishnan — one of India’s most respected tuners and a multiple-time racing and rally champion. I am proud to have been part of his team, which has delivered countless wins and championships for different manufacturers in India. Everything I know about tuning, car setup, data analysis, and race preparation comes from working under him, and that foundation continues to shape how I approach engineering today — with precision, discipline, and results.
Over the years, I became increasingly focused on telemetry and driver training. I was fascinated by the raw data — throttle position, brake pressure, steering angle, lap deltas — and how it revealed both strengths and weaknesses in a driver’s lap. I have worked closely with drivers in the Toyota Etios Motor Racing series and multiple national champions, using telemetry to help them improve braking points, throttle application, and consistency. That same focus on data is what drew me to simulators. They use the same telemetry tools I relied on trackside, and I wanted to see if that information could translate into real-world performance. It did. Drivers who trained on simulators, studied their data, and refined their inputs arrived at the track sharper, more consistent, and quicker to get on pace.

As part of his team, I contributed to projects that delivered multiple rally and racing championships for different manufacturers.
Over the years, I have led engineering and development across:
- Race & Rally Cars: Design and development of powertrains and transmissions, calibration of the Mahindra XUV300 R2 spec rally car, tuning of Group N cars, wiring and calibration of aftermarket ECUs (MoTeC, Link, Haltech, AEM), and operation of a hub-driven Dyna Pack chassis dynamometer.
- Data Analysis & Driver Training: Acquisition and analysis of telemetry using AiM, MoTeC, Haltech, and Link systems. Worked with drivers in the Toyota Etios Motor Racing series and multiple national champions, helping them improve lap times, braking points, and consistency through data-driven coaching.
- Electric Vehicles: Component selection, wiring schematics, BMS and inverter configuration, CAN integration, high-voltage wiring, and complete development of an electric race car including validation and failsafes.
- Team Operations: Leading technical teams during national race and rally events, managing workshop operations, and overseeing R&D projects for major manufacturers to deliver competitive performance.
