His career includes work with Red Rooster Performance and Arka Motorsports, supporting multiple national racing and rally champions as well as manufacturer-backed programs.

All of his motorsport experience has been shaped under the mentorship of Mr. Leelakrishnan, one of India’s most respected tuners and a multiple-time racing and rally champion. This partnership contributed to multiple championship-winning programs across different manufacturers and racing categories.

Active Motorsport Involvement

In addition to leading Race Sims, Thambusamy T.D. remains actively involved in Indian motorsport as a race engineer.

He continues to work closely with Arka Motorsports, contributing to powertrain tuning, electronics, ECU calibration, and race-weekend vehicle setup.

This ongoing involvement ensures that Race Sims’ simulator systems are informed by current, real-world racing demands — not outdated assumptions or purely theoretical models.

Telemetry, Data & Driver Training

A major focus of Thambusamy’s motorsport career has been telemetry-driven driver coaching.

Working with data systems such as AiM, MoTeC, Haltech, and Link, he has helped drivers improve braking points, throttle application, consistency, and lap-time repeatability across national-level racing programs.
